Within her work as an organizational consultant, Dr. Ranjana Srinivasan strives to collaboratively approach obstacles from a resilience and social justice framework. Dr. Srinivasan spends time learning about an organization at all levels and helping them move towards their goals. Along with her consulting work in the areas of DEI and Executive Leadership Development, she is a psychologist within the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System. Additionally, she serves as the chair of the Psychology Diversity Committee as well as the DEI Education Lead where she manages the diversity training for psychology externs, interns, and postdoctoral fellows.
As a licensed clinical psychologist and music therapist, Dr. Ranjana Srinivasan has consistently been drawn to the art of helping people connect to their inner voice. Dr. Srinivasan received her doctorate from Teachers College Columbia University in Counseling Psychology. Her research and clinical interests focus on building multicultural competence within the clinical field to best serve minority populations. She additionally does specialized research on trauma focused therapy and the intersection of minority mental and physical health.
